Our Team
As the Director of our team, Bonnie M. Weiss, M.Ed., designs and oversees each of our student's Educational Coaching programs, which she customizes based on the student's cognitive profile and educational needs. Each student's carefully constructed program is then carried out in a one-on-one setting by our highly qualified Educational Coaches. The Assistant Director and Lead Educational Coach collaborate with the Director to integrate new materials, techniques, and curriculums into our programs, as well as assist in training and supporting our Educational Coaches.

Educational Coaches
Each of our Educational Coaches has earned a Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree and many have extended their education in post-Baccalaureate studies. These dedicated professionals hold full-time positions at The Family & Learning Center and receive extensive and ongoing training in specialized teaching techniques, learning strategies, developmental psychology, and the brain’s learning processes. Coaches are encouraged to use their own strategic thinking capacities, along with the curriculum created by our Educational Therapist, in order to create a truly individualized program for each student. They meet weekly with Bonnie and/or Danika to review each student’s progress and strengthen techniques. This results in a fluid process that develops a student’s capacity to become an independent learner.
